The chess pieces have an attractive rustic Staunton look with slightly exaggerated features that facilitate carving solid stone. The multi-green onyx is mostly green but commonly has red marble mixed in creating a gorgeous combination of colors. The white onyx is predominately solid white but will sometimes have small veins of other colors intermingled. The two stones together creates a gorgeous chess set!
