This attractive checkers set includes a beautiful mahogany and maple checker board and our center dot wooden checkers. The checker board has 1.5" squares and measures 15.75" square is a .5" thick. The checkers measure 1.25" in diameter and are a .25" thick. The checkers have a concave surface on top and a tapered base on the bottom that allows two checkers to nest for kinging . The checkers have a lacquer finish that gives them a nice luster and protects the wood. We include our checkers box with this package. The box is made from heavy cardboard and covered in high quality leather-like black paper with our logo in gold foil.
